Keith Edie was born in Eastern Washington, in Mattawa, a farming town so small and remote, it features in the Geoff Mack song, “I’ve Been Everywhere.” The son of a sheriff’s deputy and a syndicated columnist and newspaper editor, Keith attended college at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington and graduate school at the Osolo Conservatory in Saratsota, Florida. For many years, he worked primarily as a stage actor, performing roles in Florida, New York, California, and the Pacific Northwest, along with three seasons in the English Theatre of Frankfurt (Germany). He specialized in comedy and Shakespeare shows, playing roles in Romeo and Juliet, The Comedy of Errors, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Much Ado About Nothing, and Hamlet, among others. He met his wife, writer Elise Forier Edie in 2007 and moved to Los Angeles in 2013, when he began pursuing a career in film and television. In addition to being an actor, Edie is also a screenwriter and producer.
